Why we charge for boosts (and why this isn't pay-to-rank)
Boosts are opt-in visibility, not opt-in ranking. A leaderboard boost pins your repo above the rest of the feed for 24 hours, but the row is visibly marked as boosted and your underlying organic position is unchanged. When the boost expires, you drop back to where you were.
Credits, the in-app currency, are earned only by writing reviews, never purchased. You can pay USD directly for boosts, but the credit pool exists exclusively to reward people who contribute substantive 800+ character reviews. That keeps the supply side honest: the people doing the most reviewing have the most ability to boost.
The directory listing tier is a curated entry on reporanker.com/directory, not a backlink farm. It's held to the same review and content rules as everything else on the site, and the link is included regardless of whether you bought the tier. The tier just buys the curated placement. Do unused credits expire?
No. Credits never expire. Earn them whenever you like and spend them when you're ready.
Can I buy credits directly?
No. Credits are earned by writing reviews. You pay only for boosts, not for credits themselves. This keeps the review economy honest.
What's the refund policy for boosts?
Boosts are non-refundable once activated. If you have a problem with a boost, contact us and we'll sort it out.
