About RepoRanker

RepoRanker is a public leaderboard and peer-review community for open-source GitHub repositories. Founded in April 2025 by Jay Campbell, the platform was built to give the growing wave of early-stage developers and vibe coders a place to get substantive feedback on their work, not just stars and forks.

On RepoRanker, developers submit their public GitHub repos and earn credits by writing real, 800-character minimum reviews of other projects. Those credits can be spent on leaderboard boosts and featured spots. The credit economy is designed so that the more you contribute to the community, the more visibility your own work receives, without a black-box algorithm deciding who gets seen.

RepoRanker is open to any public GitHub repository and free to list. The platform is available at reporanker.com.

Founder quote

“GitHub is public, but it’s passive. You ship something and it just sits there. RepoRanker exists so that early-stage builders can get real feedback from peers who have skin in the game. Because reviewing earns you credits, the critiques are genuine. That back-and-forth is what actually makes your work better.”
